Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls. The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making and ensure efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure timely and accurate management accounts
Present financial performance reports to leadership and stakeholders
Maintain reporting compliance with relevant accounting standards
Budget Management
Lead budget preparation and consolidation across departments
Track departmental spending against approved budgets
Provide budget control recommendations and cost-saving initiatives
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements
Manage banking relationships and treasury functions
Optimize cash management processes
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
Maintain and improve internal financial controls
Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements
Ensure accurate tax filings and regulatory submissions
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor finance staff
Allocate workloads and monitor team performance
Support professional development within the finance team
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes
Implement automation and efficiency initiatives
Support ERP or finance system upgrades where applicable
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
[5+ / 7+ / 10+] years of progressive finance experience
Previous management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems/ERP software
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced finance-related degree
